# Privacy Policy

This policy describes how information is handled when you visit Bonding Beacon or contact the publication by email.

Last updated October 8, 2026

## What this site currently collects

Bonding Beacon has no user accounts, comments, purchases, or directory submissions. The contact form collects your name, your email address, your message, and the page and language you sent it from, so the editorial team can read and answer it. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are configured as optional analytics services and do not load unless you accept analytics. Bonding Beacon does not use advertising pixels or cross-site advertising cookies.

A message sent through the contact form or by email may include your email address and any information you decide to provide. That information is used to read and respond to the message, keep necessary business records, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations.

## Hosting and technical information

The site's hosting provider may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, referring page, and request date and time. Hosting and security logs are handled according to the provider's service configuration, terms, and privacy practices.

Contact form messages are received and stored by the hosting provider's form service and forwarded to the editorial team by email.

## Cookies and third-party services

Bonding Beacon stores theme and cookie-consent choices in your browser. If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics 4 may process page visits, referral information, engagement, and device or browser details. Microsoft Clarity may process clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, page layout, performance, and masked session-playback information. The services use identifiers and cookies to distinguish visitors or sessions. Advertising storage and personalization remain denied. The [Cookie Policy](https://bondingbeacon.com/cookie-policy/) describes the cookies, consent controls, and provider documentation in more detail.

Google and Microsoft handle analytics information under their respective privacy terms. Bonding Beacon uses the resulting reports to understand which pages are useful and how the site performs. If another data-collecting service is added, this policy and any required consent controls must identify it before that service handles visitor information.

## Outside links

Articles link to research, support organizations, and other websites. When you follow an outside link, that service may receive information from your browser and will handle it under its own privacy policy. Bonding Beacon does not control those services.

## Retention and sharing

Bonding Beacon does not sell personal information. Contact form messages and email correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, protect the site, or meet applicable obligations. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to operate the site, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or comply with a valid legal requirement.

## Children's privacy

Bonding Beacon is a general-audience publication and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information by email, contact Bonding Beacon so the situation can be reviewed.

## Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights concerning personal information, such as asking to access, correct, or delete it. Requests can be sent to [privacy@bondingbeacon.com](mailto:privacy@bondingbeacon.com). Bonding Beacon may need to verify a request and may retain information when permitted or required by law.

## Changes to this policy

This page is updated when the site's data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest published version. Any feature that handles personal information is governed by the policy in effect when that feature is used.
